Иран и Узбекистан отменили сборы за въезд грузовиков.

Iran and Uzbekistan have eliminated entry fees for freight vehicles.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, Iran and Uzbekistan have implemented zero tariffs on the entry and transit of trucks as part of their bilateral and transit transportation agreements, reports a Podrobno.uz correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Transport, the Iranian side previously charged $400 for the entry of Uzbek trucks; however, this fee has now been completely abolished. The zero tariff applies to both freight transport to and from the Islamic Republic, as well as transit through its territory. This decision will take effect on January 10.

Uzbekistan has implemented a similar measure, which is enshrined in the state budget law for 2025. The establishment of zero tariffs for Iranian carriers is based on the principles of parity.

The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan emphasized that it will continue negotiations with Iran to further reduce costs for national carriers and simplify the conditions for transport cooperation.

It is worth noting that Uzbekistan has increased entry fees for trucks from Turkmenistan.
