A month ago, the foreign exchange reserves of the republic were valued at $41.4 billion; currently, according to the Central Bank report, they stand at $41.1 billion.
Of this amount, $32.03 billion is held in gold, while $8.5 billion is in currency. The physical volume of the precious metal remains at 12.3 million troy ounces (382.5 tons).
More than $350 million is kept in accounts at the central banks of other countries and the International Monetary Fund.
As a reminder, in November 2024, Uzbekistan purchased 9 tons of gold, becoming the second-largest buyer in the world.
