Минтранс уточнил правила пересечения границы с Казахстаном для перевозчиков из Узбекистана.

The Ministry of Transport clarified the procedures for crossing the border with Kazakhstan for Uzbek transporters.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan has issued guidelines for national carriers traveling to Kazakhstan. These recommendations are based on the outcomes of an online meeting between the Center for Transport and Logistics Issues and Kazakh customs authorities. The primary focus is on addressing challenges encountered at the border, as reported by Podrobno.uz correspondent.

Carriers are encouraged to utilize the CarGoRuqsat platform for booking queue spots at border crossing points. The system, which has been operational in test mode since 2022, is now available for permanent use.

When registering, citizens of Uzbekistan must indicate that they are not residents of Kazakhstan. A verification code for account activation is sent via WhatsApp. Upon completing the registration, carriers can create a "digital garage" with information about their vehicles.

If a vehicle is already registered in another party's garage (for example, an intermediary), to rectify this situation, copies of the vehicle's technical passport and the owner's documents must be sent to the support email: [email protected].

Booking in the CarGoRuqsat system costs 3,692 tenge (approximately 90,343 sums). Payment can be made through Visa or Mastercard cards from any Uzbek bank.

The Keden system is used for submitting transit declarations in Kazakhstan. However, self-submission is only possible for carriers with a representative office in Kazakhstan. In other cases, the declaration is processed through brokers, who also provide information about the status of document closure.

The mandatory state fee for processing the declaration is 22,152 tenge (approximately 542,000 sums). The remaining amounts are the fees for broker services, which are set independently by them.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, the Kazakh side is preparing to launch an online service on the Keden platform. This tool will allow carriers to quickly check the status of transit declarations by number, making the process more transparent and convenient.

Recommendations from the Ministry of Transport will help carriers optimize their operations when crossing the border and minimize potential delays.
