The President of Uzbekistan has enacted a law amending the state budget for 2024.

For socio-economic development and the implementation of state-level initiatives, an additional 524.8 billion sums is allocated to the reserve fund of the Cabinet of Ministers, along with 200 billion sums to support young entrepreneurs.

The introduced changes also optimize certain expenditures by reducing duplicate positions and saving budget funds. This takes into account the planned resources for capital investments in the design, construction (reconstruction), and equipping of facilities, as well as the potential for budget expenditure utilization for the current year.

The total volume of expenditures in the republican budget is increasing by nearly 10 trillion sums.
