A taxi driver took out a microloan of 12 million sums in the name of a sleeping passenger.

The passenger was unable to provide an address and handed the driver her phone with geolocation, after which she fell asleep.

Taking advantage of her condition, the criminals took out a microloan of 12 million sums using her smartphone.

The offenders have been apprehended, and a criminal case has been initiated against them, reports the Tashkent Department of Internal Affairs.
