Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the Texnomart chain of stores has been fined for misleading advertising. They advertised the "best deal" on smartphone installments, but in reality, their prices were higher than those of other retailers. This prompted intervention from the Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Rights Protection, as reported by a Podrobno.uz correspondent.

The slogan "The Best Offer" was used for the sale of Vivo Y03 and Honor X7b smartphones on installment plans. The committee emphasized that this fact was not confirmed. A case has been initiated against the company for violating the "Advertising" and "Consumer Protection" laws.
The commission has mandated the retailer to rectify the violations and to avoid similar situations in the future. Additionally, Texnomart has been fined.
It is worth noting that the Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Protection warned Yandex Go about the need to revise its pricing policy.
