Uzbekistan has reduced customs duties and introduced new benefits.
Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. New customs duty rates have been approved in Uzbekistan. Among the key changes are a reduction in several fees, the introduction of a 20% discount for pre-declaration, and the alignment of rates for both "export" and "import" modes.

According to the government decree, the fee for customs clearance outside of working hours has been reduced eightfold – from 2 BRW to 25% of BRW. The fees for customs clearance in the processing modes both within and beyond the customs territory have also been halved.
Additionally, new tariffs have been established: the fee for the transit customs regime will amount to 25% of BRW, while for international courier shipments, it will be 2% of BRW for each kilogram of cargo.
The decree will come into effect three months after the official publication of the document.
