В Узбекистане снизили тарифы на газ для местных котельных, что позволит сократить расходы населения на отопление.

Uzbekistan has reduced gas tariffs for local boilers, leading to lower heating costs for residents.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, local heating plants will now pay for gas at the rates set for residential consumers, which is 650 sums per cubic meter. Previously, they were charged 2,600 sums per cubic meter for fuel.

It is important to note that starting from May 1, 2024, new natural gas tariffs will be implemented in Uzbekistan. Additionally, boiler houses that provide heating for apartment buildings, dormitories, and departmental structures are exceeding the consumption threshold. This results in tariff calculations that are up to four times higher than the base rate, significantly increasing the cost of thermal energy for the population.

The Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Rights Protection, in collaboration with various ministries and agencies, has proposed amendments to the regulations to reduce tariffs for local boiler houses. This will substantially lower heating costs for the residents connected to these facilities.
