Salaries for cultural sector workers will be increased by up to 35%.

The president has issued a decree "On Increasing the Salaries of Employees Working in the Fields of Culture and Arts, Information and Library Affairs, and Museums," reports the Ministry of Justice.

According to the decree, the salaries of employees in state institutions and cultural organizations will be raised by the following amounts:

— starting January 1, 2025 – by 20%;

— starting July 1, 2025 – by an additional 15%.

It has also been determined that a performance evaluation system (KPI) will be implemented in state institutions and cultural organizations.
