Shafogat Rahmatullaeva dedicated many years to the theatrical arts, portraying vibrant and unforgettable roles that deeply touched the hearts of audiences. In addition to her work in theater, she took on diverse roles in film, leaving a significant mark on the history of Uzbek art.
“Throughout her career, Shafogat Rahmatullaeva made a tremendous contribution to the development of theatrical and cinematic art. She will forever remain in our hearts as a devoted worker of the stage and screen, a person committed to her people,” stated a message from the Ministry of Culture.
Shafogat Rahmatullaeva was born in 1941 in the Fergana region.
During her career, she played dozens of iconic roles, becoming a symbol of feminine strength and wisdom in Uzbek culture. Her contributions were recognized with numerous awards, including the title of "People's Artist of Uzbekistan."
She starred in films such as: “Maskharaboz” (1980), “Ok bino okshomlari” (1988), “Orzu ortida” (1990), “Sevginator” (2005), “Sevginator-2” (2007), “Er bermok – jon bermok” (2012), “Uzımdan uzımgacha” (2014), “Fidoiylar” (2015), “Poyga” (2016), “Sehrli kalpokcha” (2018), “Sarik devni minib” (2019), “Yiglamagin” (2021), and others.
