The Migration Agency has reached an agreement with the Turkish construction company Kalyon Insaat Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Ş. regarding the employment of Uzbeks, as reported by the agency's press service.

The Director of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet, Behzod Musaev, discussed with representatives of Kalyon Insaat Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Ş. the involvement of citizens of Uzbekistan in large-scale construction projects in Turkey.

In December, as part of the first phase, 60 citizens will travel to Turkey for work. According to the employment contract, the employer will cover the costs of travel, accommodation, three meals a day, special clothing, and protective equipment. "A good salary and labor rights" are also guaranteed.

“We will monitor the employment activities of Uzbeks working in Turkey and in January of next year, we will provide jobs for 1,350 specialists in the Turkish market,” said Akin Kirchicek, the human resources director of the Turkish company.

The Migration Agency notes that Kalyon Insaat Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Ş. has been implementing projects in the fields of construction, energy, and transportation in Turkey since 1974. Among these are the Istanbul Airport, the Marmaray rail tunnel under the Bosphorus, and a solar power plant in Karapinar.
