Seven Uzbek nationals who were deported from the United States have returned to their homeland. This information was reported by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
According to reports, as a result of successful negotiations between Uzbekistan and the United States, the seven Uzbeks were repatriated via the New York - Tashkent route. The citizens returned home on February 25.
It is noteworthy that the U.S. immigration service had originally planned to send the Uzbeks to Costa Rica. However, thanks to the efforts of Uzbek diplomats, the citizens were allowed to return directly to Uzbekistan.
