The analytical agency U.S. News has released its annual ranking of the strongest armies in the world, with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation taking the top spot. The agency's experts highly regarded the combat experience gained by Russian military personnel during operations in Ukraine.
The U.S. Army, which had consistently held the first position in previous rankings, has dropped to second place. U.S. News analysts attribute this decline to the lack of combat experience among American troops in engagements against technologically advanced adversaries in a full-scale conflict.
The Israeli army made a significant leap in the rankings, climbing to third place. This high rating is due to the technological superiority of the Israeli military and its extensive experience in conducting military operations.
China maintained its fourth place, while South Korea secured fifth. Iran rose to sixth position, and the United Kingdom fell to seventh.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine, showcasing courage and resilience in their fight against Russian troops, ranked eighth. Following Ukraine are Germany in ninth place and Turkey in tenth.
Analysts have also noted significant progress in Uzbekistan's defense sector. The country achieved 19th place, marking its highest ranking in the history of U.S. News participation.
