The State Asset Management Agency has announced an extension of the application deadline for the privatization of several assets put up for public auction.

This concerns the hotels "Hiva Plaza" and "Hiva Lokomotiv," as well as the company Invest Group Centre, which manages the Tashkent sports complex "Yoshlik." In all cases, the agency refers to the recommendations of consultants to attract potential investors, "to create opportunities for preparing the necessary documents," and "to conduct the sales processes in a competitive environment."

For all three assets, applications are accepted until 18:00 Tashkent time on November 29. Applications can be submitted: for "Hiva Plaza" and "Hiva Lokomotiv" at [email protected], and for Invest Group Centre at [email protected].

Requirements for candidates and other information published in the initial announcements regarding privatization remain unchanged.

About the Assets

  • "Hiva Lokomotiv" occupies an area of 0.77 hectares and includes buildings and structures with a total area of 3,500 sq. m. The number of available rooms is 78;
  • "Hiva Plaza" covers an area of 2.72 hectares and includes buildings and structures with an area of 8,700 sq. m. The hotel features 106 rooms, 12 conference halls for 700 people, a banquet hall, four restaurants, a sauna, and a swimming pool.
  • LLC Invest Group Centre was established in 1999 and manages sports facilities that were previously part of the NBU-owned complex "Yoshlik." The charter capital is 4.11 billion sums.

The hotels "Hiva Lokomotiv" and "Hiva Plaza" were put up for sale along with the "Humson" sanatorium on September 30. The application process for the privatization of Invest Group Centre began on October 2.
