The Business Development Bank allocated 7.3 trillion sums in loans for 2024.

As part of the comprehensive program "Continuous Support for Small Business," the Business Development Bank has allocated loan funds totaling 1 trillion 737 billion soums to 17,676 entrepreneurs.

As part of the comprehensive program "Continuous Support for Small Business," 49,160 entrepreneurs received a total of 4 trillion 835 billion sums in loans, of which 1 trillion 737 billion sums were directly provided by the Business Development Bank to 17,676 entrepreneurs.

Thanks to the financial assistance, 18,288 self-employed individuals were able to legalize their activities, with 12,783 registering as individual entrepreneurs and 5,505 obtaining legal entity status.

Among the 16,738 individual entrepreneurs participating in the program, 1,100 registered as limited liability companies.

In 649 mahallas assigned to the Business Development Bank, loans totaling 1 trillion 500 billion sums were issued in 2024. As a result, 473,000 people were employed, of which 70,000 were placed in permanent jobs, while 403,000 were engaged in entrepreneurial activities.

Within the framework of the "Saykhunobod Experience," a total of 3,992 financial packages were allocated in each mahalla through a house-to-house working system, along with the implementation of 21,800 micro-projects amounting to 672 billion sums. This led to the employment of 40,102 individuals.

Under the "Uchchin Experience," 608 meetings were held in 2024, addressing and resolving 6,900 inquiries. This initiative enabled the creation of 12,600 new jobs.

Last year, to support women entrepreneurs, 18,866 women received loans totaling 919 billion 800 million sums. In the mahallas assigned to the Business Development Bank, 1,868 women entrepreneurs obtained bank loans amounting to 122 billion 900 million sums, contributing to the creation of 3,862 new jobs.

Throughout 2024, the Business Development Bank allocated loans across various sectors: industry – 1 trillion 105 billion 87 million sums, agriculture – 420 billion 57 million sums, construction – 556 billion 42 million sums, trade and public catering – 1 trillion 67 billion 61 million sums, transport and communications – 77 billion 48 million sums, and other sectors – 1 trillion 384 billion 49 million sums. In total, the bank issued loans amounting to 7 trillion 300 billion sums.

During a press conference, it was noted that the bank has set even more ambitious goals for 2025. In the future, it will continue to provide modern financial services, support small businesses, and strengthen customer trust.

At the video conference held on December 16, 2024, chaired by the head of state, instructions were given to enhance efforts in financing businesses and reducing poverty levels. In this regard, the Business Development Bank is intensifying its activities in this direction.

Specifically, the work of 229 "mahalla bankers" has commenced throughout the republic. Within the "Project in the Mahalla" program, credit products "Business in the Mahalla" and "Mahalla Banker" have been developed and implemented. These measures aim to engage the population in entrepreneurship and foster the development of small businesses in the regions.

This year, the bank plans to issue loans totaling 10 trillion 400 billion sums. This includes over 300 billion sums allocated for the "First Step in Business" program and more than 150 billion sums for the "Business in the Mahalla" program.

The house-to-house working system aims to ensure employment for 279,000 individuals, with 115,000 placed in permanent jobs and 164,000 engaged in entrepreneurial activities.

As part of the planned activities, 1,300 meetings will be held, 25,900 micro-projects will be implemented, and 1 trillion 400 billion sums in loan funds will be allocated.

Additionally, the attraction of 357 million USD in foreign investments is planned.

In 2025, the total volume of loans provided by the bank will amount to 7 trillion 700 billion sums. Of this, 510 billion sums will be allocated for financing investment projects, 1 trillion 483 billion 700 million sums for replenishing working capital, and 5 trillion 736 billion 500 million sums for supporting small and medium-sized businesses.

As noted during the event, in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank, the bank has begun developing and implementing a new customer-oriented operational model for servicing micro, small, and medium-sized businesses. Currently, negotiations are underway to attract a credit line of 50 million USD under the ADB program "Development of an Inclusive Financial Sector – Financial Intermediation." The opening of this credit line will significantly enhance the bank’s financial capacity to support small businesses.
