Бой Баходира Джалолова в Канаде отменён.

The fight of Bahodir Jalolov in Canada has been canceled.

The two-time Olympic boxing champion announced that his professional fight, scheduled for February 6, has been canceled.

In Montreal, a professional boxing night was scheduled, during which Uzbek boxer Bahodir Jalolov was set to face Frenchman David Spilmont in the heavyweight division. However, doctors did not grant Jalolov permission to fight.

“The fight is canceled. Due to a minor herpes issue, I was forbidden to step into the ring. Both my opponent and I wanted to go ahead with the fight, but the commission did not give permission. I've had this since childhood — whenever I fly to another country or the climate changes, this happens,” shared the two-time Olympic champion.

Jalolov was preparing for this fight in the city of Indio (USA).

For reference: Jalolov has had 14 professional fights and won all of them by knockout. His last fight took place in 2023 in Tashkent, where he defeated South African Chris Thompson in the first round. Spilmont, on the other hand, last entered the ring in 2024, when he knocked out Artem Charnyakevich in the fourth round.
