Over 400,000 cars were sold in Uzbekistan last year, with UzAuto Motors leading among suppliers and Chevrolet ranking as the top brand.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, nearly 402,400 new cars were sold in Uzbekistan in 2024. The majority of these vehicles were supplied by UzAuto Motors, which accounted for 353,700 units, representing almost 88% of total sales.

According to "Uzavtosanoat," the top-selling model is the Chevrolet vehicles produced by this company:

Cobalt – 127.2 thousand;
Damas – 106 thousand;
Tracker – 37.9 thousand;
Onix – 33.6 thousand;
Labo – 25.3 thousand;
Lacetti – 18.3 thousand.

In second and third place among automakers are ADM Jizzakh, which sold 30.3 thousand vehicles (7.5%), and BYD Uzbekistan Factory, which began operations last summer and sold 17.1 thousand cars (4.3%). Following them are Asaka Motors (489), Jizzakh Auto (394), and SamAuto (317), which together accounted for 0.1% of the market.

In terms of brand popularity, after Chevrolet, Kia stands out (almost 19.4 thousand), followed by BYD (17.1 thousand), Chery (7.5 thousand), and Haval (3.3 thousand). Isuzu was purchased 317 times, Jetta – 294, Hyundai – 199.

Including imports, the volume of the Uzbekistan automotive market in 2024 exceeded 482 thousand vehicles. This indicates a growth of approximately 5.6% compared to the previous year, when the figure was 456.3 thousand sold cars.
