According to the press service of IT Park Uzbekistan, the number of companies receiving investments from the USA, Canada, the UK, the UAE, Japan, China, Turkey, Switzerland, Malaysia, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Poland has reached 59 in this short period.
Based on the business plans submitted by the residents, the total projected export volume for the first year is expected to exceed 70 million dollars. The target export markets include the USA, Canada, Switzerland, the UK, Germany, France, Singapore, China, South Korea, and others.
The new 112 members of IT Park specialize in outsourcing services, custom software development and modification, technical support, creative industry work, as well as the development of IT products and games. They plan to create more than 2,500 new jobs during their first year of operation, including in the regions.
Notably, there is growing interest from European and Asian countries in Uzbekistan's IT sector. For instance, the Portuguese-Hungarian company Karam, which offers financial planning services and investment project development for international markets, has already hired Uzbek specialists and plans further expansion.
The Malaysian company Beukitch Ev specializes in custom software development and will provide outsourcing services to clients in the USA and Malaysia.
Another Malaysian company, Get-Academy, offers outsourcing services in customer support, data processing, and human resources management, including technical support and payroll services.
Swiss company Inverson Operations, specializing in IT consulting and information security auditing, aims to provide outsourcing services in the USA and Switzerland. It has opened an office in Uzbekistan and is actively hiring local specialists with English language skills.
The Canadian company Unlockware IT Services, which specializes in custom software development, will export its services to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and the USA.
Japanese firm Fujijama Logistics has begun recruiting local specialists with Japanese language skills to support its "Inventory Management System" software for tracking supply chains.
All of this indicates that IT Park Uzbekistan continues to strengthen its position as an IT hub in the global market. This progress also contributes to the professional development of local specialists and enhances their competitiveness in the global market.
It is worth noting that in October, IT Park Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation with the international community Women in Tech, aimed at developing professional skills and employment opportunities for women in the IT sector.
