The network of gas stations, previously operating under the brand "Uzbekneftegaz," will be rebranded as CARVON. This rebranding will enable the network to become more recognizable, modern, and vibrant, helping it stand out from existing gas stations and attracting new customers.
In March 2024, it was announced that Petroleum Technology Group became the owner of the UNG gas station network.
The renaming and rebranding process will occur in stages. Future plans include renovating existing stations and constructing new ones. The CARVON network will continue its tradition of covering all market segments by offering diesel fuel and gasoline grades Ai-80, Ai-92, Ai-95, and Ai-98/100.
On the Path to Renewal
Along with the name change, the company is set to undergo numerous changes aimed at positioning it as a leading supplier in Uzbekistan's fuel market. Since the acquisition, the company has been gradually implementing international management standards:
- The department responsible for external and internal quality monitoring of products and services has been reorganized;
- Development of a full-cycle automation software system has commenced;
- The material and technical condition of the tank farms is being optimized through the installation of measuring and metrological devices as part of the unified software system;
- Control over the quality and quantity of fuel sold to end consumers has been strengthened;
- Re-certification, training, and qualification enhancement for employees are being conducted.
The company has also initiated a technical audit procedure, which will result in a schedule for the technical modernization of the network and the launch of the corresponding process.
Future Plans
Currently, the company controls all stages of motor fuel movement from production to storage and sale to the end consumer. Work is underway to automate business processes, including through automated monitoring and control systems for gas stations.
The primary goals for the development of the CARVON gas station network national operator are to implement high standards of quality and energy efficiency through the adoption of modern eco-friendly technologies. These directions reflect the company's commitment to meet contemporary requirements, with a focus on the global trend of environmental care. At every stage of product movement, from arrival at the oil depot to pouring into fuel tanks at gas stations, the company maintains continuous quality control of the supplied fuel both through engaged expert companies (SGS) and local laboratories. The gasoline brands Ai-92, Ai-95, and Ai-100 sold in the CARVON network comply with K4/K5 environmental standards.
Corporate Social Responsibility
The national operator CARVON is a brand present throughout Uzbekistan, from the easternmost to the westernmost points. This is why the updated concept is based on the idea of "Oases of the Silk Road," making each gas station an oasis where one can stop, rest, and continue their journey. It is no coincidence that the network's slogan is a bright and memorable phrase: "Follow the CARVON," guiding consumers "behind the caravan" toward their goals, ensuring they feel secure and confident in reaching them. The company shares the primary desire of its customers—to reach their destination, partly through quality fuel. Just as a caravan moves forward despite challenges to achieve its cherished goal, CARVON, with its modern developed logistics system, timely delivers fuel from the oil depot to gas stations, providing customers with quality products at accessible prices.
The company works in close partnership with government agencies responsible for quality control, including the Center for Scientific Testing and Quality Control, the Center for State Ecological Expertise, the National Institute of Metrology of Uzbekistan, the State Unitary Enterprise Scientific and Information Center for New Technologies, and others.
As a large socially responsible company, CARVON recognizes the complexity of its declared mission but also understands that it is a reliable partner for its customers, ready to commit to providing quality and affordable fuel.
The company believes that consumers share the aspiration for high quality standards, and it is the availability and consistent quality of products that attract new clients, while process automation ensures that loyal customers are not forgotten. They are set to launch a loyalty program that will offer participants additional benefits.
To ensure additional quality control of services, a 24/7 customer support service will be implemented.
