The private airline Centrum Air has announced the launch of direct flights from Uzbekistan to Sri Lanka.

Flights on the Tashkent – Colombo – Tashkent route will be operated weekly on Sundays, starting from November 17. The flight schedule (local time) is as follows:

  • Departure from Tashkent – 2:40 AM, arrival in Colombo – 9:10 AM;
  • Departure from Colombo – 10:30 AM, arrival in Tashkent – 3:40 PM.

The price for a one-way ticket starts at 3,121,755 sums, while round-trip tickets begin at 7,436,688 sums.

At the end of August, Centrum Air leased a new Airbus A321neo aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with additional fuel tanks, allowing it to operate flights with a range of up to 7,000 km.

Earlier, Spot reported that Centrum Air would be operating flights from Tashkent to the Chinese city of Guangzhou.
