Pavel Li, a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan and an auditor at Compliance Control, has obtained the QSA certification, which authorizes him to conduct audits for compliance with the international security standard PCI DSS.
The international consulting firm Compliance Control has been operating in Uzbekistan for over 10 years and holds leading positions in the development of cybersecurity and information security consulting for the financial industry.
In November, a significant event took place within the Compliance Control team. Pavel Li, the company’s auditor-consultant and a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, became a certified QSA (Qualified Security Assessor). Achieving QSA status confirms a high level of professionalism and grants the authority to conduct audits for compliance with the international security standard PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), utilized by payment systems VISA and Mastercard.
“Having a regional QSA auditor provides the opportunity for prompt consultation and allows audits to be conducted directly on the client's premises, which is particularly important when it is necessary to verify not only the documentation but also the actual functioning of security systems,” notes Pavel Li, auditor-consultant and QSA.
