The Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure for forming a state order for graduates with higher education on January 29. The resolution was published in the Lex.uz database.
The state order will be determined based on labor market demand and the employability of university graduates across various sectors. A special online platform, managed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, will be launched for collecting and processing this information.
The assessment of workforce needs will be established for a four-year period. The figures will be updated and reviewed annually, taking into account labor market dynamics as well as the availability of personnel in economic sectors and the social sphere across different regions.
The following data will be collected on the platform:
- the number of people officially employed in economic sectors;
- the official employment of university graduates (both state and private) by types of activity;
- the balance of labor resources, the number of job vacancies in the labor market, and employment levels;
- the number of university graduates (including those from abroad and branches);
- the resource capacity (teaching staff, material and technical base) in universities for training in bachelor's degree programs.
Admission parameters for universities must be submitted for approval annually by May 1 at the latest. Priority will be given to: education and healthcare; strategic sectors (energy, automotive, chemical industries); projects of national importance; as well as local industries, manufacturing, and agriculture.
