The Governor of Tashkent Region, Zoir Mirzaev, presented several initiatives for the development of the region, as reported by the regional administration's press service.
On October 16, during the "Hour of the Hokimiyat" meeting, the implementation of tasks assigned by Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his two-day visit to the region was discussed. Mirzaev issued several directives aimed at improving services for the population.
It has been instructed to acquire 1,000 new passenger buses. These will be utilized on routes connecting Nurafshan with other cities and districts in the region.
As the administrative center, Nurafshan should become a logistics hub for new routes, it was emphasized during the meeting. The regional transport administration must consider citizens' requests when planning routes.
Additionally, addressing labor migration and reducing poverty were included among the priority tasks. Mirzaev urged responsible officials not to lose sight of actual results in pursuit of "paper reports."
District and city governors will be required to communicate online daily with at least 20 migrants. A special headquarters is being established to assist women abroad, study their working conditions, and help with employment upon their return.
Earlier, Spot reported that the Ministry of Transport is seeking investors to improve the operations of Uzautotrans Service.
