The Kazakh startup YAYA, which offers a unified subscription for children's centers, is preparing to launch in Uzbekistan. This was announced by the company's founder, Laura Eralieva, in an interview with Digital Business.
According to her, the first team has already been assembled in Tashkent. Currently, the process of connecting children's centers is underway.
At this moment, the platform has already launched a local website and an Instagram account. This step will mark the company's first expansion beyond Kazakhstan, Eralieva noted.
The entrepreneur added that entering international markets is a significant step in the project's development, but the team is not rushing and is carefully researching new locations. In particular, the company's analysts are exploring the potential of million-strong cities with developed fintech services and infrastructure for children's activities.
The YAYA startup offers a single children's subscription for all types of activities and extracurricular classes at over 250 children's centers in Kazakhstan. A similar model is used by 1Fit, but YAYA allows users to find clubs and classes near their homes.
According to its own data, in 2024 the startup earned $1.8 million, attracted 1,500 clients, conducted 30,000 classes in over 500 centers, and raised $280,000 from investors and 500 Global. YAYA is a semifinalist of the Startup World Cup and a winner of She Loves Tech and CEVF.
Currently, the company is raising a seed round. In parallel with participating in events, the YAYA team is conducting an in-depth analysis of the American market to assess the potential for further scaling in other countries.
The company has also been repeatedly recognized in Kazakhstan’s Forbes.
