Azerbaijani entrepreneur Emin Agalarov plans to build an international tourist center in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region, according to the president's press service.
On December 16, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was briefed on the Sea Breeze Uzbekistan tourism center project located on the shores of the Charvak reservoir, which was presented by Emin Agalarov and "a number of other investment companies."
The center will include recreational areas, beaches, sports facilities, hotels, cottages, and residential complexes, according to the project. Additionally, there are plans to open stores under international brands, restaurants, and service points.

The tourist center will host various festivals, concerts, and cultural events. To ensure visitor convenience, a bridge will be constructed over the bay. In the future, the center is expected to become "a unique tourist hub where people can relax and live year-round."
The head of state supported this proposal, emphasizing the need for the design and phased construction of the center. The president tasked the creation of a commission headed by Prime Minister Abdullah Aripov to develop the legal framework for project implementation and to assist in resolving infrastructure issues.
Emin Agalarov's Projects in Uzbekistan
At the end of August, during a meeting between Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev with business representatives, the Agalarov Residence project was presented, which is planned to be implemented in the Mirabad district.
The Agalarov Residence residential complex, covering an area of 1.98 hectares, will be located near the French embassy. According to the project, the Evos and Stoloffka dining establishments, as well as several buildings, will be demolished.

"The site in the center of Tashkent will feature a residential complex with an area of 90,000 square meters—750 apartments. All apartments will be sold with finishing. Importantly, as in Sea Breeze [in Baku], there will be an aparthotel. Thus, people will be able to buy apartments, hand them over to management, and earn income from rentals, securing additional revenue. I hope this will be one of the most vibrant and remarkable real estate projects in Tashkent. We will launch the active construction phase in September," Emin Agalarov stated.
The project, designed as a premium aparthotel with 750 apartments, plans to construct four high-rise towers of 21 stories each and a main tower of 27 stories. The investment project's cost is estimated at $133 million. The area will feature "well-thought-out infrastructure, convenient parking, and a landscaped courtyard."
The total building area (GBA) is 90,000 square meters, while the rentable building area (GLA) is 60,000 square meters. Additionally, 5,400 square meters will be allocated for a large fitness center, retail and service spaces, and gastronomic areas.
Earlier, Spot reported that three tourist zones will be established in the Surkhandarya region.
