The new head of the Inspection for Control in the Field of Informatization and Telecommunications ("Uzkomnazorat") under the Ministry of Digital Technologies is Rustamov Farrukh Shorukhovich. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, referencing a presidential decree.

Farrukh Rustamov has replaced A'zam Abdushukurovich Abdullaev, who led "Uzkomnazorat" since April 27, 2022.

According to the Ministry of Digital Technologies, prior to this appointment, Farrukh Rustamov served as the head of the Central Telephone Exchange of the city telephone network in Tashkent and as the director of the branch "City Telephone Network of Tashkent" of the state company "Uzbektelecom," as well as holding other positions.

Since the end of January 2024, Rustamov has been at the helm of the mobile operator Uzmobile, which is owned by the state company "Uzbektelecom."
