Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Grand Pharm Logistics Hub near Tashkent on December 18, as reported by the presidential press service.

The complex covers approximately 10 hectares within the Tashkent Pharma Park cluster in the Zangiata district. It includes 50,000 square meters of warehouse space, a three-story administrative building, as well as a hotel, dormitory, and cafeteria.

The construction of the complex cost $40 million and has created over 300 jobs. The hub is designed for the receipt, storage, and distribution of large batches of pharmaceutical products with full digitalization of processes.

The hub is expected to support other manufacturers in Tashkent Pharma Park. The complex holds certificates of compliance with international standards and distribution practices (GDP) and storage (GSP), as well as licenses for customs warehouse management and international transportation.

The warehouses of the complex are equipped with air cooling systems to maintain a stable temperature. The hub has its own fleet of over 20 trucks for transportation organization, as well as a maintenance area.

Grand Pharma Logistics Hub has established connections with Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Poland, France, Hungary, Romania, and Turkey.

The president has instructed to further simplify the storage of medicines, their customs clearance, and registration. This is expected to help reduce their cost and increase accessibility.
