At the International Chess Academy of Uzbekistan, a meeting took place between the grandmaster and representatives from the media, journalists, and bloggers. The young chess player achieved the title of grandmaster among women at the age of 17.
She noted that she fulfilled her most cherished dream by becoming one of the strongest female chess players in the world. The meeting also discussed her contributions to the development of chess in Uzbekistan and the prospects for further growth of the sport in the country.
In 2021, due to a conflict with the leadership of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan, she decided to compete for the USA.
In December 2022, she won the World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship in Almaty, where she defeated her sister, Nafisa Muminova, in the final. Later, she joined the USA national team for the Chess Olympiad, where she also delivered commendable results.
