The Tashkent administration has announced an auction for the long-term lease of land plots where bus stops are located.
All entrepreneurs willing to operate under a public-private partnership model are invited to participate. Tenants will be required to install bus stop complexes that adhere to a unified design and structure.
Each bus stop must be equipped with lighting fixtures, trash bins, charging ports for phones, Wi-Fi access points, and displays showing bus arrival times. Additionally, the installation of surveillance cameras and emergency call buttons is mandatory.
The installation of LED screens is prohibited, as well as the construction of commercial premises or extensions. However, advertising stands with movable elements (roll-ups) and advertising panels are allowed.
The lease agreement will be for a period of three years. In the first phase, plots in 8 districts with a total area of 541 sq. m. will be leased as a single lot:
- Almazar District – 22 sq. m.;
- Bektemir District – 30 sq. m.;
- Mirabad District – 60 sq. m.;
- Mirzo-Ulugbek District – 210 sq. m.;
- Sergeli District – 20.44 sq. m.;
- Uchtepa District – 20 sq. m.;
- Chilanzar District – 169 sq. m.;
- Shaykhantahur District – 10 sq. m.
The new bus stop complex must be put into operation no later than 4 months after the lease agreement is signed. The site must comply with standards for barrier-free environments and have a level surface made of granite slabs with the use of curbs.
The starting price is 192.39 million sums per year. The auction will begin on December 2 at 10:00 AM, and applications can be submitted until 9:00 AM on the same day.
