Which goods and services have seen the highest price increases?
Food products. Over the year, the price of potatoes increased by nearly 40%, while carrots rose by 18.3%. In December, prices for cucumbers surged (+52.7%), tomatoes (+22.4%), and potatoes (+6.3%). Conversely, the prices for buckwheat (-9.6%), rice (-6.3%), and sugar (-3.7%) fell.
Utilities. Gas tariffs increased by 2.3 times, and electricity prices rose by almost 1.7 times. Heating costs went up by 36%, and garbage collection fees increased by 54.7%.
Transportation. Train fares became 12.6% more expensive, while taxi fares increased by 12.2%.
Clothing and footwear. Prices rose by 5.1% and 4.8%, respectively.
Education. The cost of services at public kindergartens increased by 20%, and tuition fees at universities rose by 15.1%.
Cafés and hotels. Prices in cafés went up by 12.3%, while hotel rates increased by 18.9%.
The cost of methane rose by 21% over the year.
