The press service of the tech cluster reported on the meeting between representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan and Digital Knowledge.
A key topic of discussion with Yasuyuki Noguchi, the CEO of Digital Knowledge, was the upcoming opening of the IT Park representative office in the company's building.
Employees of Digital Knowledge, one of the key partners of IT Park Uzbekistan, are ready to assist in organizing the official opening ceremony, as well as the Outsourcing Conference in Uzbekistan (UOC), which will take place in Tokyo on April 24.
To prepare for the office launch, the IT Park delegation will visit Japan in March. During the visit, they will meet with representatives of Japanese IT companies in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, and hold negotiations aimed at strengthening business ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration.
It is noteworthy that Digital Knowledge established Japan Digital University in Uzbekistan, which focuses on training IT specialists and teaching them the Japanese language. The university also supports its graduates in finding employment with Japanese companies expanding their presence in Uzbekistan.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that IT Park Uzbekistan opened representative offices last year in Germany, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia. The President of Uzbekistan announced in late 2023 the plans for the flagship national IT company to enter the international stage and create its subsidiaries abroad. It was expected that the Ministry of Digital Technologies would train young people according to a program aligned with the standards of prestigious international companies to staff these overseas offices.
