Chinese investors will establish an industrial zone in the Tashkent region.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, Chinese investors are set to establish a special industrial zone called "Ikki Hudud – Bir Park" (Two Regions – One Park) within the industrial technopark in Chirchik, as reported by a Podrobno.uz correspondent.

This project was presented to the president during his recent visit to the Tashkent region.

According to the press service of the Tashkent regional administration, the project will be implemented by Chinese companies China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd and BSM Group Limited.

The construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2025. Currently, work is underway on the development of project and cost documentation for the organization of the technopark.

Approximately 20 new enterprises are planned to be built in the industrial park, producing electrical equipment, textiles, construction materials, special machinery, as well as pharmaceutical industry factories.

The first products are expected to be produced in 2026.

About 200 million dollars in direct foreign investments will be attracted for the implementation of the first and second phases of this project. As a result, more than a thousand new jobs will be created.

We remind you that the president has initiated the construction and operation of nine new projects, with a total cost of 2 billion dollars.
