By the summer of 2024, 142 taxi aggregators had integrated with the tax authorities' information systems, and by the end of the year, this number reached 155. This facilitated the establishment of conditions for legal oversight of the sector's activities.

The total turnover amounted to 5.89 trillion sums, with 76.3% (4.5 trillion sums) paid in cash, and 23.7% (1.4 trillion sums) accounted for cashless transactions.

Who is Behind the Wheel?
The taxi sector employed around 498,000 self-employed drivers, including:
57% (283,680 individuals) — aged between 30 and 50 years;
36% (179,245 individuals) — under 30 years;
7% (35,004 individuals) — over 50 years.
The number of female drivers nearly quadrupled — from 1,053 to 4,124 in one year.
Driver Incomes
More than 100 million sums were earned by 4,697 drivers.
Between 50 and 100 million sums were earned by 23.1 thousand drivers, while 114.6 thousand individuals earned between 10 and 50 million sums.
What Vehicles are Used for Passenger Transport
The most popular vehicles are Nexia (17.8%), Cobalt (16.9%), and Lacetti (13.9%). The share of electric vehicles was 1.2%.
Vehicles older than 10 years made up 56.9% of the fleet.
Geography of Trips
More than half of the trips (51.6%) occurred in Tashkent. The leading regions are:
Samarkand Region — 7.65%;
Fergana Region — 7.56%;
Bukhara Region — 6%.
Taxes and Contribution to the Economy
In 2024, taxi aggregators contributed 156.8 billion sums to the budget, of which 66.2 billion sums were VAT.
