Our compatriot, who found himself in a difficult situation in Dubai, has been returned home. This was reported by the news agency "Dunyo.uz."
A citizen of Uzbekistan, who was hospitalized at "Al-Rashid" hospital in Dubai due to a serious illness, faced financial difficulties. During his treatment, he accrued a substantial debt of $17,835, in addition to owing $4,550 for illegal stay in the UAE. As a result, he was prohibited from leaving the country.
In this challenging situation, our compatriot reached out for assistance from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in the UAE. The diplomats promptly began addressing the issue. Through negotiations with the hospital administration and law enforcement representatives, they managed to secure the cancellation of all financial claims and permission for the Uzbek citizen to exit the country.
The Consulate General, in collaboration with the "Center for Assistance to Women and Children," purchased a plane ticket for our compatriot. On November 15, he successfully returned to Uzbekistan.
This story serves as a vivid example of how timely and effective government assistance can support citizens who find themselves in difficult situations abroad.
