For 2026, the rate is projected to be 13,725 sums, while for 2027 it is expected to reach 14,150 sums.
For 2024, the average dollar rate is anticipated to be around 12,640 sums.
The average annual exchange rate of the dollar to the sum reflects the average exchange rate over the calendar year and is utilized for budgetary and economic forecasts, taking into account fluctuations in the exchange rate throughout the year to establish a more stable benchmark for calculations in the national currency.
Additionally, according to the calculations of the Ministry of Economic Development and Finance, a depreciation of the national currency by 100 sums will increase government budget expenditures by 240 billion sums, while the budget message for 2024 estimated expenditures at 400 billion sums.
The Chairman of the Central Bank, Mamarizo Nurmuratov, stated at a press conference on October 31 that a 1% devaluation of the sum would lead to an increase in inflation by 0.3 percentage points.
