The Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has released the results of tax revenues for the year 2024. The budget of Uzbekistan has been supplemented by nearly 200 trillion soums, which is an increase of 20.3% compared to 2023. Of this amount, 949 large enterprises contributed 123.3 trillion soums. The majority of these revenues—64%—came from the 20 largest companies.
According to the Tax Committee, 10 state-owned enterprises accounted for over 70 trillion soums. The leaders among them were:
Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combinat (NGMK) — 35.4 trillion soums,
Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combinat (AGMK) — 10.8 trillion soums,
State Enterprise "Navoiuran" — 4.6 trillion soums,
Joint Stock Company "Uzbekneftegaz" — 4.2 trillion soums.
Meanwhile, the contribution of the 10 largest private companies amounted to 8.6 trillion soums. Among them:
Uzbek company for tobacco production British American Tobacco (UzBAT) — 2.9 trillion soums,
Tashkent Tobacco Factory (Tashkent Tobacco) — 1 trillion soums,
License Plate Manufacturing Company GID License Plate — 845.9 billion soums.
