A new head has been appointed for the Employment Department of Tashkent.

The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced a personnel decision: Yakubzhan Shakirzhanovich Babajanov has been appointed as the new head of the Employment and Poverty Reduction Department of Tashkent City.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Babajanov served as the deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Central Bank for Tashkent City, where he gained extensive experience in the financial sector. His professional journey and management competencies are expected to contribute effectively to addressing the current challenges faced by the capital's Employment and Poverty Reduction Department.

This appointment follows recent changes in the leadership of Tashkent's educational sector. It is worth noting that on February 7, 2025, Irada Salokhutdinovna Yuldasheva was appointed as the head of the Department of Preschool and School Education of Tashkent City. Both personnel decisions reflect the ongoing efforts to enhance the management system in the key social areas of the capital.

The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction is confident that Yakubzhan Babajanov will successfully fulfill his new responsibilities and make a significant contribution to the development of state policy in the areas of employment and poverty alleviation in Tashkent. His scope of authority will include issues related to the employment of citizens, the development and implementation of programs aimed at overcoming poverty, as well as coordinating the activities of various structures and organizations working in this field.
