The administration of the Tashkent region has decided to allocate additional land areas for the implementation of the "New Tashkent" project. According to the decree from the regional head, Zoyir Mirzaev, a total of 110.4 hectares of land has been designated for the construction of the city of the future.
The boundaries of "New Tashkent" will include plots located in the neighborhoods of "Uzbekistan," "Gulistan," and "Istiklol." Notably, some of the allocated areas were previously part of the state nature reserve in the Yukorichirchik district. However, after being returned to state ownership, it was decided to transfer the land to the management of the "New Tashkent" construction directorate.
Currently, relevant specialists are preparing cadastral documentation and conducting the state registration process for the transferred lands.
It is worth recalling that the issue of expanding the territory of "New Tashkent" by incorporating lands from the Tashkent region was discussed at a meeting of the regional Council of People's Deputies in March of this year.
