From January to December 2024, the average nominal aggregate income per capita exceeded the national average in Tashkent city at 60,594.4 thousand sums, Navoi region at 38,112.3 thousand sums, Bukhara region at 27,508.0 thousand sums, and Tashkent region at 25,123.3 thousand sums.
During the same period, the lowest average nominal aggregate income per capita was recorded in Namangan region at 16,849.0 thousand sums, the Republic of Karakalpakstan at 16,858.0 thousand sums, and Surkhandarya region at 17,880.0 thousand sums.
The real growth rate of aggregate income per capita for January to December 2024 was 105.9%, compared to a recorded 102.8% for the same period in 2023.
The highest real growth rates of average nominal aggregate income were observed in Tashkent city (15.4%), Navoi region (7.9%), and Tashkent region (6.4%).
Below the national average, real growth rates of average nominal aggregate income were noted in Samarkand (5.3%), Andijan (4.8%), Khorezm (4.7%), Syrdarya (3.7%), Kashkadarya (3.2%), and Bukhara (2.4%) regions, as well as in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (2.4%), Jizzakh (2.0%), Fergana (1.1%), Namangan (0.5%), and Surkhandarya (0.2%) regions.
A significant increase in the total volume of aggregate income of the population is primarily due to substantial changes in self-employment income, which accounts for 35.0%, wages from hired workers at 27.9%, and transfer incomes at 26.0%.
In the aggregate income of regions, the share of income derived from labor activities (wages from hired workers and self-employment income) was above the national average in Navoi (77.9%), Jizzakh (74.8%), Tashkent (72.6%), Syrdarya (68.6%), Bukhara (67.3%) regions, as well as in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (64.7%), Kashkadarya (64.2%), Surkhandarya (63.8%), and Namangan (63.5%) regions.
Income from labor activities (wages from hired workers and self-employment income) holds significant weight in the structure of the population's aggregate income.
According to preliminary data, for January to December 2024, the share of income from labor activities in the structure of the aggregate income of the population was 62.9%.
The nominal growth rates of income compared to the corresponding period of 2023 reached 117.2%, contributing to an increase in the nominal volume of aggregate income by approximately 11.0%.
The growth rate of wages for hired workers during the past period reached 119.0%, resulting in a 5.3% increase in nominal income for the population.
The highest nominal growth rates of wages for hired workers were recorded in Tashkent city (126.8%), Samarkand (119.2%), and Jizzakh (117.4%) regions.
During this period, the growth rates of income reached 115.9%, which ensured a 5.7% increase in nominal income for the population.
In January to December 2024, the share of total income from self-employment among the population was 35.0%.
The largest share of income in the aggregate income of regions derived from self-employment was observed in Jizzakh (52.4%), Bukhara (47.4%), Kashkadarya (44.8%), and Surkhandarya (44.8%) regions. In contrast, in Tashkent city, it was below the national average.
With a 1% increase in self-employment income, the total volume of aggregate income increases by 0.35%.
The highest share of self-employment income was noted in Tashkent (10.7%), Samarkand (10.2%), Kashkadarya (9.5%), and Andijan (9.4%) regions. The regions with the lowest shares are Syrdarya (2.3%), the Republic of Karakalpakstan (4.0%), and Jizzakh (4.9%).
According to preliminary data, from January to December 2024, the total volume of property income of the population amounted to 30.1 trillion sums. During this same period, the share of aggregate income from property was 3.3%. The impact of property income on changes in the total volume of aggregate income of the population is negligible, around 1.2%.

Income from transfers, which includes social and other current transfers, plays a significant role in the structure of the population's income.
The nominal growth rates of transfer income, according to preliminary data for January to December 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, were 113.7%. The share of transfers in the total volume of aggregate income of the population for the specified period was 26.0%.
According to preliminary data for January to December 2024, 36.6% of transfer income came from social transfers, while 63.4% was from other current transfers.
The share of pensions in the total volume of social transfers for January to December 2024 was 80.5%, benefits accounted for 17.8%, and scholarships made up 1.7%.
For January to December 2024, the share of remittances received from abroad in the aggregate income of the population (including other current transfers) was 16.5%.
According to preliminary data for January to December 2024, the share of income derived from small entrepreneurship in the total aggregate income of the population was 58.7%.
In the structure of the aggregate income of regions, this share varies: the highest share was recorded in Jizzakh region at 67.5%. The lowest share of income from small entrepreneurship was noted in Tashkent city at 49.8%, Navoi region at 53.7%, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan at 54.5%.
