One of Uzbekistan's most respected figures, Zilemhan Haidarov, has been appointed to a new position.

In Uzbekistan, Zilemkhan Haidarov, who held the position of head of the administration for the country's first president, Islam Karimov, for many years, has been appointed as the deputy of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation. This was announced by the press service of the Tennis Federation in an official statement released following an extraordinary electoral conference.

According to the information provided, the conference was dedicated to discussing and approving new personnel decisions that, in the leadership's view, should strengthen the management structure of the federation and further develop tennis in the republic. The press service statement emphasizes that such steps are part of a strategy to enhance the organization's efficiency and promote this sport among the population of Uzbekistan.

It is noteworthy that the position of chairman of the Tennis Federation was previously held by the well-known entrepreneur Botir Rahimov. He is the founder of "Kapitalbank" and led the football club "Pakhtakor" for a long time. Within the updated leadership, Haidarov has become one of Rahimov's four deputies.

Zilemkhan Haidarov has extensive professional experience. Since 1993, he served as the chief of staff for President Islam Karimov, where he worked for over two decades. His tenure in this position concluded in December 2016 when he retired. Now, years later, Haidarov is returning to active professional life, but this time in the sports sector. His appointment is seen as an effort to leverage his accumulated experience to achieve new goals in the development of tennis in the country.
