IT Park Uzbekistan has announced the opening of applications for the Open Data Challenge 2024 hackathon.
The Open Data Challenge is dedicated to the development of technological solutions using open data. It was held annually from 2018 to 2021.
The event aims to foster the growth of the professional IT community and increase public interest in the use of open data. It also seeks to harness the potential of open information in social and economic sectors.
Participants are required to create a digital solution in one of the following areas:
- public sector;
- social sector;
- business;
- anti-corruption.
Both individual and team applications are accepted. A team can consist of up to 3 people, and individual participants can team up on the first day.
The hackathon will take place at the "New Uzbekistan" University from January 24 to 26, 2025. Creators of the solutions recognized as the best will receive valuable prizes.
Registration is required to participate via the link by January 20.
