The route for the deportation of Uzbek migrants from the USA has been announced.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has provided information on how the return of citizens deported from the United States will be organized. As clarified by the press service of the department, Uzbeks subject to deportation from the U.S. will be sent home via flights operating on the New York — Tashkent route. This route has already been established in practice and is used regularly for such cases.

Uzbek diplomatic representations in the U.S., including the embassy in Washington and the consulate general in New York, have been maintaining close cooperation with American law enforcement agencies for a long time. This collaboration aims to ensure a safe and organized process for the deportation of citizens from the republic.

As part of the agreements reached, the American side commits to promptly informing the Uzbek side of each case of deportation of Uzbeks. This approach allows for the swift coordination of necessary actions and ensures the return of citizens via the established New York — Tashkent route.

In light of recent reports that Costa Rica has agreed to accept about 200 migrants deported from the U.S., including representatives from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and India, Uzbek diplomats have taken additional steps.

In particular, the embassy and consulate have sent inquiries to the relevant U.S. authorities for clarifications regarding the potential deportation of Uzbeks to third countries. This measure aims to clarify whether the standard procedure for returning citizens directly to Uzbekistan will change.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has announced the establishment of contacts with Latin American countries through diplomatic channels. This interaction is aimed at ensuring complete clarity on matters related to the deportation of Uzbeks and preventing unforeseen situations. The department emphasized that the priority remains the return of citizens to their homeland in accordance with established agreements and international norms.
