The management of "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari" has held discussions with the railway administrations of several countries.

Starting from November 5, a meeting of the CIS Council on Railway Transport is taking place in Tashkent. As part of this event, the head of the state company, Zufar Narzullaev, met with representatives from Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Iran.

During the meeting with the head of the Turkmenistan Railways Agency, Azat Atamuradov, the parties agreed to work on introducing competitive tariffs for transportation. They also discussed cooperation in modernizing rolling stock.

The delegation of the "Belarusian Railway," led by Chairman Valery Verenich, coordinated with UTY to conduct marketing research regarding market needs. This is expected to enhance the efficiency of freight transportation.

The main topic of discussion with the delegation from the "Iranian Railways" was the development of transport corridors. Narzullaev and Jabbar Ali Zakiri agreed to take measures to increase freight traffic along the route China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan - Iran.

The meeting with the head of "Rohi Ohani Tojikiston," Kamil Jumakhan, concluded with the signing of a cooperation agreement. The parties discussed creating favorable conditions for carriers, revising tariffs, and increasing freight transportation.

"Kyrgyz Temir Zholu" reached an agreement with UTY to launch tourist trains along the route Tashkent - Balikchy (Rybachye). This step will help boost tourist traffic in the Issyk-Kul direction.

Additionally, the head of the Kyrgyz company, Azamat Sakiyev, discussed with the Uzbek side the transportation of coal, cement, and other goods using the rolling stock of "Temiriyulkargo." Topics about tariff discounts were also addressed.

UTY and "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" agreed on the introduction of new tariffs to increase freight flows. Narzullaev and Nurlan Sauranbaev also held discussions on the digitalization of railways and the development of international corridors.
