The Ambassador of Uzbekistan presented his credentials to the President of Montenegro.

On November 25, 2024, an official event took place in the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica, where the first Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Montenegro, Oibek Shahavdinov, presented his credentials to the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović. This event is marked as a significant step in the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, held at the presidential palace, the parties discussed a wide range of issues concerning bilateral cooperation. Particular attention was given to matters that would elevate cooperation to a new qualitative level. Jakov Milatović expressed sincere gratitude for the presentation of the credentials and congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on their achievements in socio-economic development. The President of Montenegro wished Uzbekistan peace, prosperity, and flourishing.

Montenegro also highly appreciated the potential for cooperation in key areas such as trade and economic collaboration, investment attraction, and cultural exchange. President Milatović emphasized the importance of creating favorable conditions for the development of tourism and humanitarian exchanges between the countries.
