The airline Qanot Sharq has announced the launch of regular flights on the route Tashkent – Seoul – Tashkent.
The first flight under the new schedule took place on October 28. Flights will be operated twice a week – on Mondays and Thursdays, according to the following timetable (local time for all airports):
- departure from Tashkent – 2:30, arrival in Seoul – 12:40;
- departure from Seoul – 14:10, arrival in Tashkent – 17:55.
The price of a one-way ticket as of October 31 starts from 3,499,189 sums, while a return ticket starts from 6,441,195 sums.
Since June, Qanot Sharq has been operating charter flights between the capitals of Uzbekistan and South Korea. Flights were conducted twice a week – on Wednesdays and Sundays (with return flights on Thursdays and Mondays, respectively).
In October, the aviation authorities of both countries agreed to expand air communication between the nations. Along with Uzbekistan Airways, Qanot Sharq, My Freighter (operating under the Centrum Air brand), and Air Samarkand have been granted the right to operate regular flights to Korea.
