The Competition Committee issued warnings to several TV channels for violating the "Advertising" law, as reported by the agency's press service.

Users on social media have repeatedly pointed out the excessive amount of advertising materials aired by certain channels, which exceeds the broadcast time. The Committee investigated the situation together with the Agency for Information and Mass Communications.

As a result of the analysis, violations of the requirements for maximum advertising volumes were identified on three TV channels. The norms from April to July exceeded those of the regional channels Amudaryo, FTV, and Muloqot.

A special commission of the Committee initiated cases against them for violating the "Advertising" law. The management of the channels received directives demanding that they rectify the violations and prevent them from occurring in the future.

Earlier, Spot reported that the Competition Committee identified more than 300 instances of law violations in the advertising of dietary supplements since the beginning of the year.
