The Central Bank of Uzbekistan will start selling 100-gram gold bars.

Gold bars will be available in special protective packaging, which also serves as a certificate, contains a serial number, and provides additional security. Information about the price of the bars will be published daily on the official website of the Central Bank in the national currency.

For bar owners, there is an option for buyback. If the packaging of the bar is intact, a commercial bank will repurchase it at the point of sale with immediate payment to the owner. In the case of damaged packaging or non-compliance with technical requirements, the buyback will only occur after a technical examination is conducted. Payment will be made after the verification is complete.

Gold bars in intact packaging are permitted to be freely exported outside of Uzbekistan.
