The Central Bank of Uzbekistan and UNDP have agreed to launch pilot projects focused on financial literacy.

Special attention was given to the use of multiple channels to enhance financial accessibility.

The parties also discussed the possibility of conducting sociological research with the involvement of international experts to identify behavioral factors that affect access to financial instruments.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to launch pilot projects aimed at improving financial literacy among the population in specific regions of the country, as well as to incorporate financial education into existing UNDP initiatives.
