Regarding the export of blue fuel over the past year, shipments to China increased by 18.4%, reaching a total of $627.6 million. However, data from the General Administration of Customs of China indicates a higher figure of $726.2 million, which represents a 25.3% increase compared to the previous year.
In December, gas exports from Uzbekistan to China fell to $58.8 million, down from $79.4 million in November, although this figure still exceeds the data from the same month in 2023.
On the Chinese market, Turkmenistan remains the leader in gas supplies with exports amounting to $9.57 billion, followed by Russia ($8.03 billion), Myanmar ($1.39 billion), and Kazakhstan ($1.36 billion).
It is worth noting that Uzbekistan plans to completely cease gas exports by 2025-2026.
