Узбекистан успешно завершил переговоры с Китаем по вопросу своего вступления в Всемирную торговую организацию (ВТО).

Uzbekistan has completed negotiations with China regarding its accession to the WTO.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, China has become the 22nd country with which Uzbekistan has reached agreements regarding its accession to the World Trade Organization, reports a correspondent from Podrobno.uz.

This was reported by the presidential special representative for WTO matters, Azizbek Urunov.

He noted that the negotiations took place during a meeting in Beijing as part of a short-term visit by the Uzbek delegation. The delegation included China's Vice Minister of Commerce, Li Fei, and the Director of the Department, Li Defen.

"The end of the year has proven to be quite significant for Uzbekistan regarding its WTO membership. Negotiations with the two largest players in global trade – the United States and China – have concluded," wrote Urunov.

As a reminder, in November, the United States supported Uzbekistan's accession to the World Trade Organization. The negotiations lasted for 14 months.
